they need a flow of Cool Air to Dissipate this Heat.
* Black regulators Dissipate heat far better than Chrome Regulators.
* Regulator covers & Low Mount Oil Coolers can block air flow
& reduce heat dissipation.
* As the temperature of a Regulator Inc reases, the risk of failure Increases – If the regulator gets too hot it will fail.
* This CE unit looks physically different from the original H-D item.
It turns 90 degrees from mounting, looking opposed to original unit but the fins still run in the same direction and original mounting holes line up through the side brackets not like through the body of the original unit.
* Chrome Accessory Covers will NOT fit with the CE unit.
